ABOUT ME
I finished my Associate's Degree in social work at Salt Lake Community College in spring of 2014. I have been admitted on scholarship to Westminster College to pursue a customized Healthcare Advocacy major, combining the departments of sociology, political science, and justice studies.
Until four years ago I worked as a Recreation Director in assisted living and skilled nursing communities in Salt Lake City. Since I have become disabled and home-bound, I am now running a small business on-line selling my art and hand-made jewelry.
I am a full time student, a disability activist and blogger, a dog mom, and a stubborn physical therapy patient dealing with a progressive neurological disorder. My life has changed a lot in the last few years, but my experience at Westminster is sure to open doors to a bright new future.
